Dear family and friends,
We were very surprised to hear yesterday afternoon that
Margo's sister, Veronica, was in remission from her aggressive form
of Leukemia blood cancer. There has been a release of tension under
which we didn't realize we were living. We were very much expecting
the news to be the opposite - that the cancer would be growing back
at a rapid rate, with the prognosis being only months left to live.
Tristan, a couple of weeks ago, had said that there must be a
miracle in heaven with Aunt Veronica's name on it. Then yesterday,
hearing the good news about Margo's sister, he broke into a broad
smile and said that God had crossed that miracle off His list!
Please pray for Veronica. Margo will go ahead with the
donation of bone
marrow, or with stem cells. Veronica is very weak, needs to see her
white blood count come up to normal, and then the long road to
healing. The three rounds of chemo have been very hard on her body.
We don't know why one sister is called home by the Lord, and
the other He chooses to heal, but we trust in Him at all times,
knowing His will is best, and experiencing His comfort and courage.
***Please
pray for the application process for the Shalom House Ministry
charitable status to be approved with the Canadian government. We
have a small board, we have incorporated and accomplished a name
search, we have joined the CCCC (Canadian Council of Christian
Charities) and we have written up all the information for the CCCC
to apply for charitable status on behalf of Shalom House. We are
praying that this will be finalized by Christmas.
Thanks
and God bless,
Randy (and Margo)
